# Get Started with Looking Glass Portrait Set up your Looking Glass Looking Glass Portrait has two primary modes you can use the device in. Standalone Mode, and Desktop Mode. We'll walk you through that and more in the videos below! {% embed url="" %} ### What's in the Box? 📦 When you unbox your Looking Glass, you'll find a few extra items along with the Portrait itself. Once you've got Looking Glass Bridge installed, run this test below and you should see a hologram appear on your display! If the Portrait is receiving power you should see the status LED above the power button breathe white. If the device is off you should see the status LED above the power button breathe blue. Tap the power button to turn the device on.
